Dr. Jing-Yi Jeng is neuroscientist and BBSRC Research Fellow based at the University of Sheffield’s School of Biosciences Development, Regeneration and Neurophysiology. She did her MSc degree in Biotechnology at National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan and her PhD in Biomedical Science at the University of Sheffield (UK). Her research focuses on how cochlear sensory cells age, and the mechanisms underlying age-related hearing loss. She developed a deep interest in auditory neuroscience during her PhD and subsequently joined as a postdoctoral researcher. To continue her passion in research, she acquired a fellowship to better understand hearing loss.
