The 61st Inner Ear Biology Workshop 2026 (IEB2026) will take place in Utrecht, the Netherlands, from Saturday, September 19th to Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026.

The Inner Ear Biology Workshop is a premier annual meeting that brings together leading scientists, clinicians, and industry partners from across Europe and beyond. It serves as an essential platform for sharing the latest discoveries, technologies, and innovations in the field of inner ear research. 

This year’s event is proudly hosted by the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery at UMC Utrecht.

This year, the symposium entitled “Technical advancements in Inner Ear research: Connecting lab to patient” will focus on technical improvements done in different fields from molecular research to patient care. 

IEB2026 will be held at TivoliVredenburg, a landmark venue in the heart of Utrecht renowned for its modern design, outstanding acoustics, and commitment to sustainability.
